At Zkt Timer ("Platform", "We"), we place great importance on the security and privacy of our users' ("User", "You") personal data. This notice has been prepared in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and related legislation to inform you about the processing, storage, and transfer of your personal data.

By using our Platform, you are deemed to have accepted this Privacy Policy and Data Protection Notice.

1. Data Controller

In accordance with KVKK, your personal data may be processed by the Zkt Timer Platform as data controller within the scope described below.

2. Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Carrying out Platform membership procedures.
  • Providing and improving the services we offer (timer, statistics, analyses).
  • Personalizing user experience, ensuring account security, and resolving technical issues.
  • Fulfilling legal obligations (e.g., traffic data retention, Law No. 5651 requirements).
  • Conducting communication activities and responding to support requests.
  • Managing marketing and analytics processes (through cookies).
  • Recording session minutes for anonymous active-user statistics in the admin panel (not shared with third parties).

3. Personal Data Processed

The following categories of data may be collected through the Platform:

  • Identity Information: Name, surname (if provided), username.
  • Contact Information: Email address.
  • Transaction Security Information: IP address, password data (hashed), login/logout records.
  • Usage Data: Solve times, statistics, in-platform activities.

4. Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected automatically through electronic means via our website, mobile applications, or email. This data is processed based on the following legal grounds stated in KVKK Article 5/2:

  • Explicitly provided for by law,
  • Directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract,
  • Necessary for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligations,
  • Necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject,

are the legal bases for data processing.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared, within the scope and purposes prescribed by legal regulations, with:

  • Infrastructure providers we use to deliver our services (e.g., AWS, server services),
  • Apple App Store and Google Play Store for processing in-app purchases,
  • Service providers for email delivery (e.g., AWS SES, Resend),
  • Third-party tools used for analytics and performance tracking (e.g., Google Analytics, Sentry),
  • Authorized public institutions and organizations upon request,

in compliance with KVKK Articles 8 and 9.

Due to our servers and some services being located abroad, your data may be transferred internationally based on your explicit consent or other conditions specified in KVKK Article 9.

6. Rights of the Data Subject

In accordance with KVKK Article 11, you have the following rights as a data subject:

  • To learn whether your personal data has been processed,
  • To request information if your personal data has been processed,
  • To learn the purpose of personal data processing and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
  • To know the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad,
  • To request correction of personal data if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
  • To request deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of KVKK Article 7,
  • To object to the emergence of a result against you through the analysis of processed data exclusively by automated systems,
  • To claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of personal data.
